NYW Encampment History

IN ORDER TO ATTEND ENCAMPMENT, APPLICANTS MUST BE A CADET AIRMAN (one stripe) on 27 July 01 PER CAPR 52-16 PARA 5-6.a.

Cadet Basics (no stripes) will be sent back home if they arrive at encampment.

It is highly recommended that the cadet be an Airman by the time they apply, to avoid any potential problems.

Required forms for 2002 NY Wing Encampment: 
(out of wing cadets must have their wing CC sign NYWF 31)

In-flight cadets need only a NYWF 31.
Staff cadets need a NYWF 31 for workshops and the encampment, a NYWF 96 for staff applications and a NYWF 17c for the workshops. (These forms are also used for the workshops.  NYWGF 96 is used for staff applications)
Seniors need a NYWF 31 for the encampment and a CAPF 17. (These forms are also used for the workshops.)

In the meantime, download the forms for encampment applications above. The NYWF 31 is required for acceptance to the activity, as well as a current CAP ID card. 

Cost will be $175 per cadet, however is subject to change.  Make checks out to "New York Wing" - Credit card payments are also accepted. The cost is increased this year because of increased food charges. Payment must be recieved in full with the application.  Cadets should bring approx. $40 in spending cash to the encampment.
