SUBJECT: 2004 NY Wing Cadet Drill Competition/Color Guard Letters of Intent (LOI)
1. New York Wing Cadet Programs office invites groups to participate in the
2004 Wing Cadet Drill Competition and Color Guard Competition to be held
0930 hours, at Stratton ANGB, Schenectady, New York, on Saturday,
17 April 2004. The winning Wing teams will go on to compete at the NER
Regional Competition 1 & 2 May 2004, for the right to advance to National.
2. Groups interested in participating need only email me at
msprissy@optonline.net, the following statement: "As the Commander of
______ Group, New York Wing, I am committing my group to participate in the
New York Wing 2004 Cadet Drill Competition Color Guard Competition 17 Apr 2004
at Stratton ANGB, Schenectady, New York."
3. Team rosters are to be electronically submitted to Capt. Phyllis T. Pruitt,
no later than 10 Apr 2004, using the old CAPF 7 (available for download at
http://www.nywgcadets.org/docs/old_capf7.dot).
4. A registration fee of $50 per team, non-refundable, payable to CAP NYWG,
is required. If the wing competition is cancelled, all monies will be forwarded
to pay for the region registration fee.
5. Groups are permitted to combine to form a team (ex: LIG and NYC forming a
team, for example), but both group CC’s must state this in writing. Groups
interested in forming a team, but are unsure how to go about it, download
the Drill Team Promo Flyer from http://www.nywgcadets.org/dt/ (where there
are also pictures and history about NYWG drill team).
6. Groups not interested in participating need only email me at
msprissy@optonline.net, the following statement: "As the Commander of
______ Group, New York Wing, I am formally notifying the Wing that my group
will not participate in the 2004 Cadet Drill Competition/Color Guard
Competition 17 Apr 2004 at Stratton ANGB, Schenectady, New York."
